Old stoneware ink bottle
This lovely old stoneware bottle would have once been used for ink and would be dated around the late 1800's.
The bottle is a glazed ceramic and is the most wonderful rusty, brown colour with a few darker tones. It has a patch on one side that has missed some glaze and a chip around the pouring spout. There are also some smaller chips around its base.
This is a unique piece and all of its imperfections add to its lovely character and rustic charm. It is a time-worn treasure and looks wonderful styled on a wooden table with some dried foliage.
