Large vintage platter
This is an English 'Henry Alcock" porcelain pottery piece. The Alcock family has been associated with pottery in Cobridge, Stoke-on-Trent, England since 1835.
This is a beautiful piece with its light, golden, delicate pattern around the edge and its wonderful crackled, aged glaze. There is as hairline crack but the platter is still in lovely vintage condition and this adds to its charm (please see all images).
It would make a beautiful addition to a collection of vintage serving ware and still used for its intended purpose.
