Our Family

Our dream for Family Founded has always been for each of our four children, as well as ourselves. Surprisingly, our business has become the very force that brings us all more closely together. Far from worrying about seeing less of our children, we find ourselves blessed with the opportunity to spend more time with them and now our grandchildren.

Kate is here most of all and often with her husband Nick, and always with their daughters Rosie and Eloise. Kate has played a crucial role in shaping Family Founded, bringing her organizational skills and insightful ideas. Her dedication has been vital in shaping where we are today. Brittany is married to Chase, and they have a beautiful new baby, Olivia. Brit always provides a quiet yet significant presence at our workshops, ensuring all runs smoothly. It is always so wonderful when she’s here. Tom and Ash with their groodle Delilah often pop past and Charlotte and Chris are never far when there’s heavy lifting to do in the shop.

Our granddaughters, Rosie and Eloise, always join us. Rosie sits beside me during workshops, lending a helping hand as I demonstrate the techniques we use when restoring furniture. The two play endlessly in our little store, hiding in antique cupboards, playing ‘shops’ and filling our space with happiness.

Their support, encouragement, and love for what we do is what drives us every day. And together, as a family, we continue our journey finding joy in the shared experiences that come with building our dream.
